Gothic Arch Sideboard

Cathedral thinking, furniture scale. The Gothic Arch Sideboard pairs a high gloss deep red lacquer oval top — softly rounded at both ends — with a base that looks as though it was lifted from the nave of a great church and scaled down to inhabit a room.

The base is a complex web of interlocking curved arch panels in deep matte crimson red, each one intersecting and overlapping the next to create a structure of genuine architectural ambition. Pointed arch feet touch the floor at multiple points, casting cathedral-like shadows across the surface beneath. A sideboard that transforms any wall it stands against into something worth looking at.
