Ovoid Lacquer Side Table

Sculpture that earns its place. The Ovoid Lacquer Side Table takes its form from the egg — a smooth, continuous ovoid top in high gloss jet black lacquer that catches light like a mirror and invites touch like a stone.

Beneath it, three dramatically slim legs flare organically from the underside of the top, tapering to near-nothing before each is tipped with a small polished chrome sabot. The legs read less like furniture components and more like roots or tendrils — alive, directional, and entirely unlike anything else in the room.
